What’s that weird trophy thingy? It’s called the Arte y Pico award and is given to people who are creative and have a penchant for art. Whoever it is bestowed upon must present it to 5 other bloggers and let them know. Peanut Butter Boy gave it to ME. I knew I could trust someone who devoted an entire blog to his love of peanut butter.

What were you doing 10 years ago?
1998 – I was 18 and in my freshman year at SUNY Potsdam. In my spare time I was a stage manager for Intervarsity Christian Fellowship…we put on productions every Friday for 150-200 college students. That summer my BFF Erica and I packed up our dorms and headed to Greenwich, CT to work as lifeguards/counselors for Purchase Day Camp.

What are five (non-work) things on your to-do list for today?
Walk the dog, Make dinner, Watch a movie with my husband (don’t waste your time on this one), Blog and Pick up some stuff at the grocery store (mango, deli turkey, olives, and tortillas).

Five snacks you enjoy?

Saturday Supper

It’s a lazy Saturday ’round these parts. My husband and I took twenty screaming teenagers to a concert last night for youth group (Thousand Foot Krutch, Skillet!). It was great. Hot, but great. Loud and scream-y, but great. It was “neat” to hear Skillet again. Skillet was my very first CD purchase way back in 1996. Funny they are still so popular today. (I posted a few pictures here)

As a result of being up WAY past our bedtimes we slept through breakfast and have been lazing around the house. I’ve been cooking up a storm though. Tonight we will be having: Pot roast with veggies, Wheat Berry and Wild Rice Salad and Pesto Flax Wheat Bread.

The one tragic thing, is that our camera broke over the weekend. So pictures will be few for a few days until we can agree on the replacement (how many votes for a Canon Rebel! – ME!).
